Times Colonist article June 13th 2013 http://www.timescolonist.com/news/it-s-a-dog-s-life-animal-group-raising...
Jackson and Odin came from two different areas of the island and they'd never met. But in the space of a few days the fickle finger of fate intervened and they're now kennelmates. Jackson was run over by a car and shattered his back right leg. Odin decided to bolt through a door out into the path of a car and fractured his front leg.
So now we're fundraising like crazy so that the surgeon can have both these dogs up and running....and away from cars.
On our Victoria Adoptables Dog Rescue page: https://www.facebook.com/vadogz?ref=hl people have donated items to be auctioned off.
On Saturday, June 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. we're having a fundraising hotdog bbq at Pets West in Broadmead Village
Donations for Jackson and Odin's surgeries can be made through our Paypal account at the top left hand of this page.
Donations by credit card are also being accepted at Saanichton Veterinary Hospital, phone 778-351-3030.
At Victoria Adoptables Dog Rescue our motto is "we're all about the animals." We hope you will help us help Jackson and Odin to have a good quality life.
Thank you,
Carol Broad
