This calico beauty is Lily. Her mom was a stray cat that had taken up residence in a feral colony in an effort to find food. She was heavily pregnant when she was rescued and gave birth the following morning. We are very thankful that Rosie's babies were born safe and sound inside so they have been healthy and well-socialized since they were born.
Lily is the most cautious of her litter, preferring to observe from the sidelines while one of her siblings explores new environments first. She often watches their antics from a safe distance and climbs into her foster mom's lap for cuddles while the others are playing. She will play independently with battery-operated toys when the others are wrestling.
Lily loves food and goes crazy for Churro treats. They are the way to her heart and will help her new family bond with her, as along as the treats are given on moderation. Since Lily is a quiet kitten, she is looking for a home without children. Thus far, she has no experience with dogs, but she still arches her back and hisses when she sees the other cats in her foster home. Therefore, we believe that Lily will be happiest if adopted alongside her sister, Daisy. The two of them are often curled up together.
If you have a quiet home and would like to adopt Lily and her sister, Daisy, please visit https://victoriapets.ca/adoption-process/ for information about our adoption process and for a copy of our online adoption application.
**Please note that this litter of kittens is being fostered on SaltSpring Island. Therefore, potential adopters will be required to travel to SSI for a meet and greet with the kittens prior to adoption.**
