About Chalupa...

This cutie is Chalupa (which is a type of Mexican food.) Her mother came to us from a hoarding situation and was heavily pregnant when she was rescued. Her babies were born in foster care and grew up around a large number of other cats. The babies are now ready for adoption and are looking for homes with other kitties that they can become friends with. Chalupa looks almost identical to her sisters, Yucca & Tamale, so it can be difficult to tell them apart. Of the three kittens, Chalupa is the most timid and is often found hanging out in a quiet area. However, once she’s comfortable with a space, Chalupa is adorable, playful and sweet. This little lady will make a great addition to the right home. Chalupa will do best in a home with a gentle cat that wants to hang out with her. She's not overly high energy or rambunctious, so a quieter cat who will snuggle her rather than plan roughly with her would be best. She is nervous of loud sounds and fast movements so she needs a home without children. While she doesn’t have much experience with dogs, Chalupa’s mother hates dogs and seems to have passed this dislike onto her kittens. Therefore, a dog-free home will be ideal for her.
