Chiquis aka Cheeky, Worm, has been waiting for her dog savvy forever home. She requires a special person or couple (no kids, no cats) that have experience with reactivity towards
humans and at times towards other dogs. She is a very "mouthy" dog, and therefore will default to nipping when she's excited, demanding attention, or just feeling threatened, and even during play she will resort to using her teeth. She will do this with the other two female dogs in her foster home while they engage in play. They are very tolerant of her but if she's too much they will tell her so and she backs off, fora while. She is moderate to high energy and would really benefit from a strong guardian who is interested in exercising, training and possibly agility. She has shown she's pretty smart and willing to please, enjoys tackling puzzle games, and has some way with impulse control. She loves going for walks and really enjoys sniffing around and really doesn't pay too much attention to other dogs or people unless they get too close (for her). In the home she is by your side, always, and loves to cuddle up with you although she is does fidget a lot before settling down. She is super comical at times and is always on the go! She is house trained and crate trained and spends nights in her dog crate. If you'd just like to have a home companion that you can take for leash walks and hikes or runs then Chiquis might be for you. She will be fine with another dog in the home if they are properly introduced. Cheeky Chiquis is fully vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas and ticks, spayed, and blood tested negative for heart worm, anaplasmosis, ehrlichia and leishmaniasis.
