Finn is an active, exuberant and happy young dog looking for a human(s) to call his own. Over a year ago, Finn tangled with a car, resulting in the amputation of his front leg. This doesn’t keep him down though as he’s adjusted well. The border collie part of him wants to be challenged...he wants to learn and please his humans. Trainer Dave of TomeyK9 http://www.TomeyK9.ca visited him and taught Finn the “sit” command and “stay” command quickly. Finn will require humans who will have the time to give him the exercise and training classes that will allow him to work and thrive. Toys and exercises to make him think are encouraged.
Finn likes to “talk” in his growly voice when happy or excited. He’s currently fostered with several dogs and does well with them. Next week he’ll have a visit with a therapist at Broadmead Vet Clinic in order that we learn what muscles should be exercised so he can be as physically active as he can be.
