This beautiful black pair are Fred & Jane; they are siblings and are looking for a home together.  These two need a very a quiet home with someone who has the patience to help them blossom into a wonderful pair of kitties.  Both cats are very shy when meeting new people for the first time but once they get to trust you they're really sweet.

Although Jane & Fred were born to a domestic cat in a home, they lived with a single person who didn't have a lot of company so they're not used to new faces. They did, however, live with more than 20 others cats, so it was difficult for them to get much individual attention. In their foster home, both Jane and Fred have become vocal and like to chat about their day, especially Fred. They both enjoy being brushed and playing with their toys. They are quite young cats; only about 2 years old.

This pair will do best in an indoor-only, home with a quiet couple or single person.  Jane & Fred have not yet had any experience with dogs but may be OK with a cat-savvy dog that will respect their space, if introduced slowly & properly. They will not be comfortable in a home with children; they are just too fast & loud for their liking.  

It will take some time for Jane and Fred to settle into a new home and become comfortable.  It took about 3 months for their current foster dad to be able to pet or brush the kitties regularly. It will definitely take time and patience for them to become comfortable as part of a new family. To help ensure their success, the foster-to-adopt program is available (and is recommended) for them. Someone with experience working with under-socialized cats is a must.
