About Fedora...

This beautiful, confident girl has a big personality and lots of love to give. Fedora is part Bengal and comes with some of the typical Bengal characteristics: vocal, athletic, and super smart. When we say vocal we mean that Fedora wants to talk to everyone about everything. She settles quietly eventually, but not before discussing breakfast, the weather, what you’re doing today, etc. Fedora needs an indoor only home as if she is left outside unattended she will inevitably follow the first person she meets home and tell them she never gets fed. She does love to go for walks and will do best in a home where she is taken for walks on a leash and harness every day (except in rain or snow, Fedora prefers to curl up next to a heater on those days). She also loves to play indoor fetch with soft toys or chase around a wand toy. Exercise is very important for Fedora’s well-being. She isn’t a couch potato and needs interactive play every day. She is highly food motivated and would be a great candidate for training. It wouldn’t take her long to learn some fun tricks. Between playtime and walks, Fedora is very affectionate and likes to climb up to people’s shoulders for a good lookout. She is not at all shy and won’t hesitate to climb up on visitors. She loves cuddles and lap time and purrs so much she ends up drooling. Fedora is approximately 8 years old. She strongly dislikes other animals and will need to be the only pet in her home. She has a sensitive stomach and needs a grain free diet. Fedora’s adoption fee is $170 and she is spayed, microchipped and tattooed, dewormed, deflead, and has had recent blood work done. If you are interested in meeting her, come to the pound at 1260 Nanaimo Lakes Rd between 10 – 4 Mon – Fri or 10 – 3 on Saturdays.
